Reviews
The quality of the Motionflow 200Hz engine together with the other undeniable strengths of the picture just did enough to bring me down on the side of an overall 4.5/5 for the Sony KDL-46Z4500. If you fancy getting hold of the undoubted quality of Sony’s current core LCD picture technology, the Z4500 range appears to be the only place to go.

With the 200Hz system on hand to give things that little extra nudge upwards, the 46Z4500 probably produces the best picture quality we’ve seen from a Sony HDTV.

The Sony KDL-40Z4500 is undoubtedly a very good set, picture and sound quality being arguably the best in class. If you can afford the extra over the KDL-40W4500, then go for it.

Finally, the Sony Z4500 easily steals the 5 stars in our recommendation. Image quality, ergonomics, good default settings, scaling fairly good sources SD, and small improvements (Motionflow 200 Hz, remote back-lit, sound quality) allow it to exceed the W4500.
