Reviews
The MSI Wind is breath of fresh air. Unlike its competitors, the MSI Wind NB offers the complete package, including an adult-size keyboard, a larger 10-inch screen, and a very capable Atom processor. This system’s solid performance, stellar 5-plus hours of battery life, and price make it the best all-around netbook to date.

The MSI Wind is one of the best netbooks I have seen come out of the mini notebook storm that has hit us the past few months. The screen is great, the keyboard is great, build quality is top notch, and above all the thing doesn’t light your pants on fire

The MSI Wind is arguably the best netbook on the market. It’s stylish, it’s easy to type on and it’s quick. The wireless connectivity could have been better and the standard battery life is relatively poor, but these are issues you can get around. With that in mind, this device comes highly recommended.

There’s a lot to like about the MSI Wind. It’s a great design and benefits from an excellent keyboard and screen, but it’s let down by battery life, making you think twice. It’s still a good machine and if you’re happy to trade battery life for a better keyboard, or purchase a separate battery, it’s still worth serious consideration.

All in all, we were extremely impressed by the MSI Wind and based on the short amount of time we spent with it, we reckon that it’s the first low-cost ultraportable to deliver on all counts – and again, that processor plays a significant part in this.
